Disk Copy*
DiskCopy is a 32 bit program for formatting and creating duplicate disks. DiskCopy will
prompt you for the number of copies you have in mind, making for a very quick operation if
multiple copies of a disk are required. DiskCopy does not perform an actual track by track
copy, it simply copies the directory structure and files, but 99% of the time, that is
exactly what is really required. You can freely download the shareware version of this
program.
Free Form*
FreeForm is the ultimate menu driven floppy disk formatting utility which lets the user
create a wide variety of MS-DOS and custom floppy disks with a PC, XT, AT or PS/2
compatible computer equipped with either 5-1/4 inch (360k or 1.2 M) or 3-1/2 inch (720k,
1.44 M, or 2.8 M) floppy disk drives. Unlike the MS-DOS FORMAT.COM program, FreeForm
allows you to format virtually any kind of floppy disk (including non-MS-DOS types) with
an MS-DOS compatible computer. All styles of floppy drives are supported, including the
external drives and secondary floppy controller cards used with some machines. FreeForm
will not let you format a hard disk. In order to use FreeForm, you will need DOS version
3.20 or later (or DR-DOS 5.0 or later) and at least 256k bytes of RAM. A free shareware
version is available to download.

Jugg'ler 128 is an easy to use program for the Commodore C-128 personal computer (in CP/M
mode) with a 1570, 1571 and/or a 1581 disk drive which provides read, write and formatting
support for more than 140 types of CP/M disks. Up to three of these extra disk types can
be installed on your system and can be changed at any time. Once installed, you can read
and write these disks with no further assistance from Jugg'ler. Support is fully automatic
by the CP/M operating system! (In order to use these extra types, you must run Jugg'ler
each time you boot up CP/M.) In addition, you can format a new disk in any of the
supported types. Jugg'ler is compatible with all current versions of C-128 CP/M and with
all current C-128 hardware configurations, including the C-128-D. You can download this
program for free (freeware).

Form. The current version 4 for Windows, offers all of the functionality of the original

and number of floppy drives on your system; Format any standard DOS disk type, including
MAXI style extended capacity disks; Format disks with sequential serial numbers; Copy any
type of DOS disk in one easy step, including MAXI style extended capacity disks; Format
and/or copy Microsoft 1.7 meg DMF disks; Format and/or copy Macintosh 1.44 meg disks; Copy
virtually any type of non-DOS disk in a single pass; Create floppy disk image files on
your hard drive to make future additional copies; Analyze an unknown disk and determine
its type; Easy to use Windows front end; Make Win'95/MS-DOS 7 boot disks; and Make boot
from C: drive floppy disks. A free shareware version is available to download.
MAXI Form*
Are you tired of running out of space on your floppy disks? How would you like to fit 420k
on a 360k disk, 800k on a 720k disk, 1.4 meg on a 1.2 meg disk, or an incredible 1.6 meg
on a 1.44 meg disk? Sound impossible? Well not any more!! If you are using DOS version
3.2x or later, then the innovative new shareware program from Herne Data Systems called
MAXIForm is just the thing for you. Using MAXIForm for all your floppy disk data storage
needs is like getting an extra one and a half disks FREE with every box of floppies that

Meg98*
Meg98 helps you manage your computers memory and disk space the easy
way. It is a Program for Windows 95 which includes a suite of
utilities. 3-D graphs show memory and disk space. See a quick graphical view of your PC.
Powerful search features then help you remove duplicate, unneeded files to the recycle
bin. A memory tree and directory tree show where space is
being used. A free shareware version is available for you to download.
More
Space*
More Space is a windows utility that frees up valuable hard disk space by locating
duplicate files and file/folder hogs. More Space can give your computer the one
thing you've longed for -- more space! More Space will locate file duplicates on any
drive. Files can be deleted directly or sent to the Windows 95/98/NT recycle bin where
they can be later purged. You can also identify those files that have aged by sorting by
file age, creation date, access date and size. Folder hogs are identified and listed by
number of sub-folders, number of files and percent of the free hard disk they are
consuming. You can delete entire folders. The latest file within a folder is identified
giving you a clue about dormant folders. Statistics are also displayed for your
files, including the number of file types, ages, and sizes which are categorized and
graphed. A free shareware version of this program is available for download.
SMAX*
SMAX is a TSR driver needed to access MAXI style extended capacity disks on some systems.
While DOS versions 3.2x and later can automatically handle the housekeeping required to
access MAXI style extended capacity disks, the BIOS and hardware on many systems will not.
SMAX.COM is a memory resident driver which is used to improve the compatibility of MAXI
extended capacity disks with some combinations of hardware and DOS. It is not a true
device driver in the conventional sense of DOS terminology. Rather, it is a simple TSR
(terminate but stay resident) program which patches into the BIOS disk interrupt vector
(interrupt hex 13) and changes the EOT (end of track, or last sector in a track) parameter
to match the increased value of the MAXI extended capacity disks when it detects a disk
read or write operation. A free shareware version is available to download.
Transfer**
Transfer is a utility that determines the 'real-life' throughput of any hard disk
subsystem. It will overload the complete chain formed by DOS or Windows, the electronics,
firmware and the physical drive, in order to force the maximum performance out of it all.
Buffers or caches won't fool this utility. A manual delay - added to rev. 2.02 - before
reading the test data, assures that cached writes won't influence the read test. This
utility is free of charge (freeware).
What
Changed*
What Changed is a combination disk backup and system monitoring utility for Windows 95 or
NT. It enables you to take a "snapshot" or record of the contents of your hard
disks and compare them to your hard disk files in the future. You can automatically back
up any files that have changed or been added to your hard disks. You can also find any
changes that might account for any problems you have developed with your system, such as
corrupted or missing files. A free shareware version is available for you to download.
