Associate File Utility*
This program is for those of us that find Windows 95 to be somewhat inadequate, and downright faulty at times in regard to setting up file associations. In either File Manager or Explorer, you can double-click on a TXT file, and it will be quickly displayed using the Notepad applet. That is because TXT files are associated with Notepad. This program will allow you to easily change that association to a more powerful text editor, if you wish. It will, of course, also allow you to associate any file extension with whatever program you wish, as well as an associated icon. You can freely download the shareware version of this program.

CLOUDS*
CLOUDS, or Comprehensive Locator of Otherwise Unfindable Documents, is a complete document management system for Windows 3.1, 95, 98, and NT.  It has complete multi-level password security and the ability to protect documents from unauthorized viewing. Documents can also be "checked in and out" to other locations. A variety of CLOUDS add-ons are available such as the client/matter tracking add-on pack which adds client/matter tracking to CLOUDS for use in the legal, consulting, construction, etc. industries; a report writer for the generation of custom document reports and labels; and an ODBC (Object Database Connectivity) driver for accessing CLOUDS database information in applications such as spreadsheets and databases. Disk Master*
Disk Master is an all-purpose disk utility which handles some rather tedious jobs with the greatest of ease. Drag and Drop Printing**
Drag and Drop Printing is a desktop utility program that allows you to pick up files from the file manager, drop them on the DDP icon and they print!  Drag and Drop Printing allows you to control every aspect of printing.  You can set headings, footings, fonts, type size and margins. File Handle*
This tool or utility, File_Handle, is a small, yet powerful and elegant, mouse and keyboard driven Dos application for managing files, directories and disks. It's rich in features; locates forgotten files and duplicates easily; runs applications just by pointing at files. Its finder automatically scans all drives on the system, including those in networks. The program utilizes extended wildcards for all its searching, selecting and navigational purposes. File Patcher*
This program modifies another file according to the values contained in a patch file. This is useful for automating the modifications / updates of .EXE or other files for games / applications.  A 21 day trial version of this program is available for download but keep in mind that for only a one time registration free of $4 you can have this program and many more for free!

File Tiger*
FileTiger is a dual-window file manager for Windows 98, Windows NT 4, and 95. FileTiger emphasizes speed, by recognizing that most file management involves two folders, for moving, copying, backing up or generally getting organized. Two folders are always available side by side in FileTiger, with buttons ready to perform any function needed to work on files from either side. FileTiger recognizes that most users prefer their own choice of programs for creating ZIP and text files, and uses the programs installed by the user for those purposes. Novice, Standard, and Pro Modes allow users to select just how much "Are you really sure you want to do that?" they need. A free shareware version is available for download.

File Usage Monitor simply monitors and logs the usage of user-selected files. Microsoft Infrared Transfer Version**
Microsoft Infrared Transfer Version lets you transfer files using infrared with one mouse click. You can transfer a file by simply dragging and dropping it, or by right clicking it and selecting "Send To". You can freely download the full functional version of this software.

PixSee MultiMedia Browser*
The PixSee MultiMedia Browser was designed to give you a convenient and easy to use utility for browsing through your image and multimedia files. Once you have located the directory the files are in you can view or play them with just one click of the mouse and you can cycle through them by pressing the up or down cursor key. Or if you prefer to just kick back and let PixSee do all the work it has a feature called MediaShow that will sequence through the files for you. It supports the following file types: Images (BMP, GIF, ICO, JPG, PCX, PNG, TIF and WMF), music (*.MID and *.RMI), Sounds (Windows Wave Files), Windows Videos(*.AVI), and QuickTime Movies(*.MOV). PKFIND*
PKZFIND is command-line driven utilities which provides speedy file finding capabilities. PKZFIND File Finder Plus works like other "where-is" type programs, with an important PLUS. The Plus is that PKZFIND will not only search all directories on diskette or hard disk like other "where-is" programs, but it will search through .ZIP files created by PKZIP as well. Once PKZFIND finds the desired file, PKZFIND can automatically change to the subdirectory where the file is found! PKZFIND will allow you to find any file, ZIPPED or not, simply and easily. PKZOOM*
PKZOOM is a fast file finding utility that provides an easy to use full screen interface. PKZOOM takes "where-is" programs into another dimension. PKZOOM can be run from the command line, but it also supports pull-down menus, so there is no need to memorize complex options. PKZOOM can search for up to 5 filespecs at a time. You can also search multiple disk drives, and look inside of .ZIP files. PKZOOM saves the names of the files you are searching for, so you can use the arrow keys to review them. If the files you are looking for are in a ZIP file, PKZOOM can run PKUNZIP and extract them for you! A shareware version of this software is available for download.

SnapShot - File Utility*
SnapShot is a program for those of you who like to keep a close eye on our Windows and Windows/System directories. Most Windows programs use these 2 directories as “dumping grounds” for support files, and since these directories are very large, it is nearly impossible to keep track of it all. A shareware version is available for download.

Subject Search Siter (SSSiter)*
SSScanner is a full-text search utility which scans within files on your local or network drive looking for a given word or phrase. As SSScanner searches for the word or phrase you enter, it will show the directory path or paths to the file containing your criteria. It also gives a relevancy score, shown as a percentage, which helps you to determine the probability if a file actually contains the search criteria. An ability to generate reports containing excerptions from original files that match your question, is completely unique and powerful. A shareware version of this software is available for download.
