NASA's Earth Observing System Science Posters
The Earth Observing System Science Posters are free of charge for educational purposes. To obtain one set of these posters please complete the required information below and allow six to eight weeks for delivery.

NASA's "Seeds from Space"
For the 25 September 1997 launch of NASA's shuttle Atlantis, Park Seed donated over 20 pounds of tomato seed, which were exposed to deep space conditions for 10-14 days, then returned to Earth for observation and germination tests. Concurrently, 20 pounds of tomato seed were lowered to NASA's manned underwater laboratory off Key Largo; finally, a 20-pound control group was maintained at the Park Seed facility in Greenwood, South Carolina. Each school that applies for participation in Seeds in Space II will receive 3 specially-packaged tomato seed packets; a packet of "Space Base" seeds, a packet of "Sea Base" seeds, and a packet of "Earth Base" seeds, plus extensive documentation directly from NASA.

Teacher's Helper
Each month, they  will post a new free integrated lesson plan for teachers and parents to use with elementary students. The lesson plans include writing, science, reading, math, creative writing and much more. The lessons are geared for kids in Kindegarden through 4th grade.

Virginia  Carolina Peanuts Educational Material
